New York City Wall Art, Bridges, Set of 3 Prints, buy Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Queensboro, New York City Prints, Deborah Julian
With only one of five boroughs connected to the United State mainland New York.
With only one of five boroughs connected to the United State mainland, New York City is made up mainly of islands, connected by bridges. Fortunately, the bridges connecting the boroughs were designed and constructed with art and architecture in mind.
The Brooklyn Bridge is especially historical, the first of its kind and dependent on technology learned in the Civil War. One thing most people don't know is that, on completion, it was the tallest structure in New York, surpassing Trinity Church in height. The Brooklyn Bridge was indispensable in buy making New York a metropolis, joining two powerful, but separate cities, Brooklyn and New York, and leading to consolidation in the near future.
The Manhattan and Queensboro (also known as the 59th Street) Bridges round out this matching set of three prints. Even more so, the images here express the art of their construction, showing how powerfully the blend into the urban landscape.
You can buy this set as 8 1/2 X 11 inch giclee fine art prints, with or without 11 X14 inch textured white mats. Also available as large 13 X 19 inch prints. I make all of my own prints on Archival Epson Paper, and each one is signed on the white border beneath the image or on the reverse.
