IMPORTANT - OUTDOOR USE: Our signs are sprayed with General Finishes 450 Outdoor Top Coat but they are not warranted for outdoor use. If you want to place it outdoors we recommend checking it periodically and spraying it with additional General Finishes 450 Outdoor Top Coat or Spar Varnish (used on boats and at local hardware stores) on both sides and edges to fully seal it once you get it home. Hanging it under a covered area will still expose it to humidity and temperature changes which can crack and warp the wood. Any exposure to these elements needs additional protection, even a screened-in patio, etc.
