Our Raw silk, also known as Tussah silk, is made of pure mulberry silk, and the entire process, from spinning to weaving to dyeing, is done by hand by skilled craftsmen in hundreds of years old weaving villages in our homeland.

Although it is made of 100% mulberry silk, the fabric is not as shiny as most silk fabrics. This is due to our manual spinning process, the craftsman pulls each yarn with his hands (rather than machines). As a result, each yarn is often larger and rougher than when spun on a machine. The best part is it's still soft and gives you a pleasant touching!

Aside from its rustic beauty, tussah silk has all the great advantages of silk: soft, comfortable, warm in winter, cool in summer, and extremely comfortable. The scarf is extremely gentle on your skin and hair, leaving you with a pleasant sensation. Our tussah silk scarf is hypoallergenic, fast drying, super absorbent, and antimicrobial by nature.
