This is a one-of-a-kind piece handmade in the USA from a vintage Swarovski crystal chain set with rose opal rhinestones between gold leaves buy, vintage brass floral lever backs, and real butterflies that have passed away naturally after living a long full life. All butterflies are real and are laminated in a high-quality UV lamination sheet to protect the specimens from sun/water damage and to give them strength for daily wear. The butterflies used in this art may come with damaged wings, scratches, or other imperfections. This is an indicator that the butterfly was allowed to live its natural life cycle and here at Vêtu we celebrate these character marks. This shop has a mission to reduce waste and although it can not be a zero-waste, plastic-free, shop entirely, the commitment is to always be conscious of ways to minimize waste. 90% of the hardware used in the making of these pieces is not "new" but is as good as new.
