Isn't this a pretty piece of porcelain? The Neoclassical shape is wonderful, and the pale pink on white decoration, highlighted with bright gold is subtle yet effective. It appears so fragile and delicate.

It reminds me of Marie buy Antoinette's home and museum, Malmaison, outside of Paris.

I have not seen another urn like this one!

9" wide X 8 1/2" tall. The base is 4" X 3 1/8". The opening is 3 7/8" X 2 5/8".

Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, discoloration or missing gold. If you look at the last thumbnail you will see that the bonding material that joins the bowl to the pedestal is ever so slightly visible. I don't think this is a repair, but rather a part of the manufacturing process. You have to pick the piece up and examine it to see it, but I like to be transparent. It's an amazing piece!
