Pictured here is a 2 piece set of vintage solid brass owl bookends from the 1960's. These vintage beauties are made of solid brass throughout and stand 6 1/2 inches high and measure 3 5/8's wide when measured at their base. They are very detailed from top to bottom and have a nice vintage patina on them as well. Each standing owl is perched atop a nice solid base and have a solid weight to them. On one of these vintage owls is some kind of coating on it in one spot that was put on back in the day. (Please see 6th picture). I gave them both a surface polishing but wanted to keep their vintage patina intact. (Please see all pictures).

An awesome vintage set of brass owl bookends just perfect to use to anchor your books or simply displayed on their own. They would definitely make a great addition to add to your boho or brass home decor. I found these at an antique estate sale on one of my many buying trips and buy they have only had one owner and were part of a lifetime collection of antique and vintage brass pieces.
