It is made from high quality baltic birch plywood, and is painted using watered down acrylic paints.
All of the products are coated in Howard's butcher block oil and conditioner, which is a food grade safe oil that requires periodical reapplication of the conditioner to rejuvenate the wood for long term preservation. I do include a little bottle of the Howards butcher block conditioner with client's orders with a written set of instructions for use and reapplication.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for toy prep and completion.
The wood grain always varies, and is distinct to each piece. The grain knots and variations are considered to be the beauty marks of the unique grain style and are not blemishes or faulty in any way. Any knots are heavily sanded down and rounded to not cause any harm to fingers.
