Falkland is a strong, soft fiber from the Falkland Islands in the Southern Atlantic. It is not a specific breed, but rather grown to a specification and blended. The sheep on the island are grazed on land that uses no fertilizers and the sheep are raised to organic specifications. It creates a soft and lofty yarn suitable for next to skin projects.

This 3-ply yarn is chain plied to produce a self-striping yarn that will work up as a series of short repeating stripes when knit.
