The motifs on the local carpets woven by women symbolize issues such as fertility, luck, health, death, sin, resurrection, evil eye and eternity.

The most commonly used patterns in the carpets of the region are eye, star, tree of life, scorpion, amulet, river, burdock, bird, ram horn.

Sheep wool is used in the ropes used in carpet making.

Wool, which is spun into yarn by spinning with Kirmen, is made ready to be used in carpet making by dyeing various plants grown in the region with natural dyeing methods.

Colors such as red (red), sky (blue, dark blue), black, cat hair (gray), rust thread (brown), vine leaves and green, walnut shells and tetir are mostly used in carpets.

Sindi (scissors), kirkit, comb and knife are used in carpet making.

Hand wash should be done delicately. Heavy chemicals and bleach cannot be used.

It is completely hand woven from wool material.

- Coloring has been done with plants such as mud, vine leaves, walnut shells, walnut leaves. It is not possible to find these dyes in other hand-made carpets. There are no chemicals.
