The Tasha Tudor Cookbook Written & Illustrated buy By Tasha Tudor First Edition Published in 1993 by Little Brown Co Boston Original Dust Jacket

A delightful vintage cookbook entitled, The Tasha Tudor Cookbook: Recipes and Reminiscences from Corgi Cottage' written and illustrated by Tasha Tudor (1915-2002). This First Edition, First Printing copy was published in 1993 by Little, Brown & Company, in Boston. Tasha Tudor was well know and beloved for her charming artwork and has illustrated nearly one hundred books, this one is no exception. With more than 80 recipes, which include appetizers, salads, soups, muffins, breads, desserts, main dishes, beverages, and Christmas treats, the colorful illustrations are an inspiration for every cook.

The hardcover book features the original dust jacket, unclipped, with colored illustrations on the front and back, The cover boards mimic the dust jacket illustration with a colored printed paper illustration. The overall condition of both the book and the dust jacket is good, with just a slight crease on the back of the dust jacket on the bottom. The book measures; 8 1/4" buy x 9 1/4".

There were several errors which occurred during the printing process, one error in the recipe for Chocolate Cake, lists in the ingredients an extra cup of sugar, which is unnecessary, its on page 69.

A wonderful and visually beautiful cookbook by one of my favorite illustrators of children's books, Tasha Tudor.
