Succulent Care Tips
-Succulents come bare rooted and need to be planted into a pot with a drainage hole with well-draining succulent mix (inorganic mix) to root for at least 2 weeks before watering
-Fast drainage mixture may be like bonsai jack mix and can contain cactus/succulent soil, coconut coir, pumice, lava rock, akadama, grit (crushed granite), etc.
-Check if succulent is thirsty by gently squeezing to see if the leaves are squishy. If firm, then do not water. Make sure the soil mixture is dry before watering again.
-Avoid watering on the leaves and water into the soil around the plant to avoid rot and to really give those roots a good drink
-Succulents would need indirect sunlight and avoid putting your succulents in full sunlight before acclimating them to avoid damage and burn
-If using grow lights, 10-12 hours of grow lights would be optimum. Also, adjust the time given depending on the distance of the light from the succulent.
-A friendly reminder~ Experiment, HAVE FUN, you may lose a few leaves or even a succie but it's all about learning! Good luck and enjoy growing!
