Forest Falls buy Unique Original Acrylic Waterfall Nature Painting on Wood Burl

This incredibly unique piece was done on a slice of maplewood burl recovered from the scrap bin of a woodworker I know. Due to the irregular edges, despite the paint on the front surface, the natural beauty of wood burls is still shown along the edges of the painting. While the edges were not cut parallel in a way that allows it to stand on it's only vertically, there is a hanger installed on the back so it will hang perfectly upright on your wall. Even if you display this painting in direct sunlight you need not worry about fading, as a water based sealant will keep this painting looking brand new decades to come.

• For this piece of wood burl, it still had chainsaw and planer marks from processing before it was determined it could not be used for any woodworking project. All these marks were sanded off, exposing the amazing grain and uniqueness of this piece by hand before painting

• Entirely handmade, this piece was done on an irregularly shaped piece of maple wood burl approximately 9" wide and 22" tall.

• While I do not treat my painting hobby as a job where I track exactly how many hours it takes me to finish a painting, this one took me around 17 hours start to finish, not including the time it took to prep the wood.

• All my pieces are entirely unique from each other, and as at the moment I am not selling prints of my paintings, if you chose to purchase this painting it would be the only painting of that scene by me that would ever be found, ensuring you have a one-of-a-kind exclusive piece that nobody else will ever have a copy of all to yourself
