Women's watch ZIM, made in the USSR in 70 years.

ZIM – excellent watches with a long history. Watch ZIM were produced from the late 30-ies of the last century on the Zavod imeni Maslennikova – what is the full name.
In 1932-39 he worked at the factory, together with the French firm Lip, has been the release of the first pocket watches under the name of ZIM. During the war, of course, the factory switched to production for the war effort, and only after the victory had launched a full-fledged wristwatches. At this time (1950) there is a trademark "Victory". Logo Winters, thanks to its memorable shape, something even more successful from the standpoint of marketing. Of course, during the Soviet Union people did not operate with such concepts. In conditions of deficiency simply was no need for additional promotion efforts. Not spoiled a wide assortment of people bought everything in shops. In such conditions the Plant named after Maslennikov successfully existed, and the number of produced watches reached 2.5 million units per year.

Watch ZIM belonged to the second category (the third did not exist). That is, according to its technical characteristics, they were not the standard hours. But the price was low. What would now be called, economy class. Fortunately, the prices on vintage watch ZIM very affordable. Of course, every year there are fewer instances of well-preserved, but while they are there.

The main advantage of these Soviet watches for today's consumer. Not all of them can be considered a model of art, however, if a little search, you can find very decent ones.
