Fabulous vintage distressed black leather bag with "Bell & Howell" marked on the outside in white and starting to fade to a lovely patina with age. LOVE the shiny silver chrome trim on the front flap, top sides, and handle hardware, and easy open velcro closure! Features retro white stitching and a slightly trapezoidal shape to the bag that just oozes vintage charm. What a wonderful opportunity to upcycle it into a purse or gadget carrier just for you.

For how old this must be, I can't believe how shiny and almost new looking most of that chrome is! Only a tiny bit of it shows any oxidation/rust from age, and you have to look very closely to find that as it's hidden by one of the side supports.

Long shoulder strap is in good shape, appears to be nonadjustable, and measures approximately 23" from the shoulder to the top of the bag when hung from your shoulder.

The main part of bag appears to be made of leather. Other parts of the bag may be vinyl trim mixed with leather, such as the handle (it is tough to tell for sure but it's done very well either way).

The bag has just one large flap to get inside and it features a long velcro closure under the long strip of shiny silver chrome trim that makes accessing the inside super simple. The inside shows some wear from age and as the leather has patinaed, but functions great and has no odor inside.

May have originally been designed for binoculars or camera gear? In very good, pre-loved shabby chic, somewhat worn-in condition, but still has plenty of life left for you to enjoy it as is, or upcycle it into a purse, small carry-on bag, or even a great storage bag for any of your chosen small electronics that might fit inside!
