This beautiful custom Faith Love Hope pen will make a unique gift for Mother's Day, Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation, Christmas, Bridesmaid or “Just Because”. The pen pictured is Rapala Lacewood with Antique Brass finish. You choose the metal finish and type of wood, and we will make a custom pen just for you! This pen is a lovely expression of the user's faith. We can typically make your pen in less than a week; if by chance, we have your pen in stock, we can ship same or next business day. The wood will vary from pen to pen, since we use natural wood. Also the coloring may vary dependent on your computer, tablet or phone screen. We finish all pens with Walnut Oil which enhances the color of the wood, and generally makes it richer and deeper in color. The wood sample photos you see are raw wood, not finished with Walnut Oil. AFRICAN BLACKWOOD is an exotic wood native to Eastern Africa, and is also known as Mozambique Ebony or Senegal Ebony. It features a dark brown, even purplish heartwood with dark streaks. It is an extremely hard wood, strong and stiff, very stable, with a fine texture.
BLOODWOOD (Brosimum Rubescens) is an exotic wood that is sometimes referred to as cardinal wood, for it's obvious beautiful deep rose color. With age it's color does darken, but not significantly.
BOG OAK is English Oak that has been salvaged from a peat bog. The extremely low oxygen conditions of the bog protect the wood from normal decay, while the underlying peat provides acidic conditions where iron salts and other minerals react with the tannins in the wood, gradually giving it a distinct dark brown to almost black color.”

COCOBOLO is an exotic wood native to Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, and is favored for custom pool cues, fine furniture and cabinetry, inlays, and musical instruments. The wood is very durable and strong, with a fine texture. It is extremely beautiful, ranging in color from dark red to reddish brown, with an irregular grain pattern.
HARD MAPLE (Acer Saccharum) is found in Wisconsin, Vermont, New York and West Virginia. In the North, during the cold nights and warm days of late winter, the sugar maple is tapped for its sucrose-containing sap, the source of maple syrup. Maple has been a favorite of American furniture makers since early Colonial days.
HOLLY is a domestic wood that is excellent turning, carving, and inlay. Very rare due to the slow rate of growth and small size of the trees that are harvested. Must be cut in winter to avoid blue-stain or graying of the wood. Holly ranges in color from white to ivory. Holly has a very close irregular grain with little or no discernible figure.
HONDURAS ROSEWOOD is an exotic wood with pinkish brown or purplish with darker and lighter bands. The combination of colors and streaks gives the wood a very attractive appearance Honduras rosewood is reported to be denser and tougher than Brazilian rosewood.
IPE (pronounced “ee-pay”), also called Brazilian walnut, is a beautiful exotic wood from South America. It is almost twice as dense as most woods and up to five times harder.
KINGWOOD is an exotic wood that is light to dark violet brown with lighter and darker stripes of purple. Also called Violetwood or Violete. Bright luster, fine texture and is very stable in service. Very hard and heavy.
