buy Old Chinese Foo Lion Dog Seal Stamp Carved Soapstone? 2 1/4" H
Picked this up at an estate sale as part of a large grouping of jade items. Most those went to the auction house. I kept this because, well, I thought it was cool. I have no idea what it says, how old it is, and if it is genuinely old. The wear looks old, but....you know how it is. I believe it is soapstone, but I am quite uncertain on this. Has some etched writing on it - have no idea what it says, and the seal looks to be a 4 character seal - again, have no idea what it says.
Measures 22.03mm across at the square area and the height is 58.84mm
