About me

It all started with the old Singer. Yellow with brown elements. It usually stood on the kitchen table where my mother was sitting. She dealt professionally with tailoring. As a little girl I used to get on her lap. What I liked the most was watching movements of her hands, during making a new clothes. I was amazed that something useful is made out of shapeless pieces of material. I sat like this for hours, sometimes imitating her. At the age of 8, using a needle and thread, I sewed my first purse from old, dark blue denim pants. It wasn't perfect, but I felt a lot of satisfaction when I saw the effect of my actions. I was very surprised that one of the stranger girl asked me where did I bought it? These memories are very memorable, especially the feeling of joy.

In adulthood, sewing was relegated to the background. I started studying psychology, then practicing this profession. And although I had satisfaction with my work, thoughts about sewing kept coming back. Especially when my mother gave me her old machine. Then the childhood dream of creating came back. I started learning how to use a machine from minor changes on clothes, to sewing mascots for nieces, to designing and sewing handbags. Seeing the smile on the face of people to whom I presented my handicrafts, I felt the former feeling of satisfaction in creating. I thought that I wanted to share this passion with others.
