buy Two antique California Perfume Company face powder containers from the 1910s to 20s. It's hard to believe, these Avon containers are antiques! The Vernafleur tin is from the 20s and the rarer CPC Sweet Sixteen Face Powder cardboard box is from the 1910s (1890s debut). It contains the original liner.
The California Perfume Company was founded in 1886 and officially became Avon in 1939.
The Vernafleur is in very good condition overall with only light wear showing and some scratches on the interior. The Sweet Sixteen is in fair condition with staining on the top and bottom and a crack on the lid. There's a $4 price written in pencil on the bottom. The image is still clear however and both pieces are perfect for display.
