Authentic Mens Ceremonial Kimono.

Mens kimono are usually in plain subtle colours of black, brown, navy and grey in general. It is thought that the darker and the simpler it gets, the more formal it is, while the light coloured and strong patterned ones are known as casual kimonos.

Also, mens kimono usually have relatively short body length because men's obi belt is worn in much simpler fashion than women's (i.e. no tucking up etc...), so they are much easier to wear.

This particular black silk kimono with 5 house crests ( 2 on front + 3 on back) is traditionally known as the most formal kimono for men and typically worn at special occasions such as wedding.

Vintage condition with wear commensurate with age including some faint storage marks here and there. No serious marks or damages and it is in good sturdy condition overall.
