This mud cloth fabric has a substantial weight and thickness with short unfinished ends. This is not vintage. New condition with classic textural hand-made attributes.

Authentic hand loomed, un-dyed, cotton mud cloth textiles come in qualities that vary greatly. The cloth has been loomed in narrow strips which are machine sewn together to form one larger cloth.

As with all hand crafted pieces, this may have several imperfections such as cotton slubs, reconnected strips of cloth, fraying at the ends, and other signs evident with small-batch creations.
