Australian red malle burl Magnetic key buy rack sewing tool holder, knife rack, 8" natural edge, with mounting screws handmade key hook fancy

This is an 8" Australian Red Mallee Burl magnetic key rack which could also be used for small/light knives or sewing tools with magnets spread to hold 3-6 items. I use neodymium rare earth magnets although small they are EXTREMELY powerful. They are drilled in from the back to leave only a thin layer of material in front of them. The magnets are backed with Maple plugs both plugs and magnets are glued in place using a high grade adhesive to ensure a lifetime of use.

****PLEASE NOTE*** Keys are not magnetic, you must use a key ring, 3/4" rings use 1 magnet, 1-1/4" rings use 2 magnets for more keys and greater strength. One magnet can hold 12-15 keys depending on the size of the keys. Unlike my full strength knife holders this rack only has 1 row of buy magnets, still strong enough to hold keys, most regular and small knives but can also be used in a sewing room.

**Wood Info**
Red Mallee Burl comes from the semi-arid areas of Australia. The burl wood will have a variety of tight eye formations which can result in fine checks in the wood, Since the checks run all over the place in a variety of directions the wood maintains good structural integrity. I've filled any larger checks. The heartwood is a deep crimson turning to a deep maroon with age. The sapwood is a solid cream color. This item has a beautiful live/natural edge

**Mounting Hardware**
The Key rack is machined with a T slot for concealed hanging on the wall, 2 screws and drywall anchors are included.

**Food friendly finish**
The knife holder is finished with a natural penetrating oil.
