Carefully selected items of new and pre-owned pottery are purchased from a variety of antique and charity shops. Every piece, new or pre-owned is cleaned thoroughly before being prepared for decoration. buy Each piece is decorated in a unique and bespoke manner using John Tenniel's illustrations from the original 'Alice in Wonderland' book.

This large Coffee Pot is 23 cm (8.9 inches) tall including the lid and from the top of the handle to the edge of the spout measures 25 cm (9.2 inches). The large quote on each side of the pot is taken from the Mad hatters Tea Party when Alice decides to have some fun and asks 'Why is a Raven Like a Writing Desk?' On the lid is written Alice as well as a picture of het kneeling down.

Each scene is created using a digital medium and then printed onto low temperature decal paper. This is applied to the clean surface of the pot before being placed in an oven to be baked onto the piece for over one hour. After the piece has cooled, a medium is applied and the piece is refired to help seal the image.

Each piece can be hand washed in soapy water using a sponge or cloth to clean. DO NOT use any abrasive materials to clean the piece or place in a dishwasher. This will seriously damage the images.
