Beautiful hand painted vanity box made in East Germany by JLMenau. Box is made of white porcelain and decorated with hand painted gold scrolls. The center of the lid as well as on each side of the base features elegant gold floral transfers. The details continue with the cute curved feet that elevate the whole box.
The box is marked "JLMenau, Graf Von Henneberg, Porzellan 1777 9896/762763/P, 31 East Germany"
It is in flawless condition without chips, cracks or wear to any of the gold paint or transfers.
This piece measures 4 1/2" tall x 7 1/2" wide x 5" deep.
