This painting was done by "Wednesday and Pugsley Addams", Bandit-masked Raccoons. These two lost their mother at a very early age. Trapped alone, crying for days in the hole of a tree where their mother had safely left them. A concerned citizen called rehabilitators and they were carefully cut out to ensure they could get a good get the care they needed. Once graduated from the bottle, these two were set on a course to return to the wild. Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and releases are a difficult task. Once they reach a safe age slowly, but surely their care takers step back a little each day. Released after they were strong, healthy and knew how to be wild. Just as their mother would have wanted. At CLIMATES-Rescue we treat all surrendered animals as if their life depends on us because it almost always does.

All painting activities are done with full supervision of our professional keepers, who ensure that any animal creating a painting is safe and happy. We use non-toxic, edible, animal safe, hand-made paint and only do paintings when the animal needs to be soaked, brushed or bathed anyway for health reasons.
