Eight (8) Mid-Century Dorothy Thorpe 5-1/2" buy Fruit or Berry Bowls / Enameled Roses

This is a very nice set of mid-century Dorothy Thorpe hand painted 5-1/2" fruit or berry bowls. They have pretty enameled pink roses on them buy, with a textured background.

Ms. Thorpe was a famous designer who worked for several famous companies as an artist. She also purchased plain, undecorated china and glass, known as blanks, and hand painted them with her own unique designs.

I have almost an entire set of this that I am listing. I believe that it was painted especially for someone. I cannot find any more of it. I did find some glass pieces with very similar roses, but not any china.

I have eight (8) of these fruit bowls for sale. I am selling them as a set. They are in excellent, used condition. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE THORPE STICKER, but a few of the pieces in the set do have it. I included a picture so that you can see that it is authentic Dorothy Thorpe china.

I would be willing to sell any multiple of two, instead of the whole set. If you are interested in fewer pieces, let me know and I will edit the listing accordingly.
