Pyrography is the art of burning designs onto wood, leather, bones, skulls buy, antlers - anything you can imagine! I burn between 250 and 450 degrees Celsius (482-842 Fahrenheit!) With an Optima pyrography pen. The pyrography process is incredibly theraputic, and each piece takes anywhere from 1 hour to complete, to over 24 hours for some of my bigger pieces! I love mixing mediums, such as burning designs onto wood and leather together. I adore mixing rustic mediums together to form a really organic feeling piece with plenty of soul.

I love doing commission pieces, as it pushes me to learn new methods and ideas - so they are greatly welcomed! No matter how out there the idea, I'm up for trying it!
