Our Hungarian Puzzle Boxes are hand-made by master craftsman László 'Kossuth' Antal from Kalotaszeg, Romania. With almost 50 years of experience, László Antal has earned a name as one of the finest puzzle box artisans in Transylvania. Combining the knowledge passed down from his elders, he created the perfect puzzle box to share the joy of his art with the world.

Hand-carved with a hidden lock and key, our puzzle boxes will keep you thinking as you attempt to uncover the secrets in the box. The puzzle box requires 9 steps to open, with the last revealing a secret hidden compartment. Try opening it without our help!

The box measures 6”x4”x3” (15x10x7.5 cm) and can be used in many ways. Our puzzle boxes have been used to keep jewellery, coins, books and cards, and even for wedding proposals. Individually designed by László Antal himself, our puzzle boxes make the perfect gifts for any occasion.
