Botanical Plaster buy Art Set

This set of three botanical plaster art pieces would make a lovely addition to any wall in your home. The 5x7 frame dons a plaster relief of azaleas, the 8.5 x 6.5 displays the sweet blue blooms from the Siberian Bugloss Brunnera, and the largest plaster relief in a 13 x 9.5 frame is a mixture of daffodils, a gladioli, lambs ear, and yarrow. All of the flowers used were taken from our gardens.

After making the molds and pouring the plaster, each casting was delicately painted with watercolors, then sealed and aged, and aged again after a two step crackle was applied. All of the castings received two coats of a high gloss, solvent based sealer to give them the shine of a fine china. Both a strong adhesive and wire keep the castings very buy secure in their frames.

For a cohesiveness, the frames were each finished in identical fashion. The backs were stained with a gel stain in a rich brown hue. The outer raised parts of the frames were painted with a color called Vintage Sage. Each frame was finished with clear wax to give them that smooth polished feel.
