The Japanese art of Kintsugi is when broken pottery is repaired, with gold silver or brass filling the seams. This metaphor is us when we are broken. We can heal and become stronger, wiser and more beautiful. When we mend we have a more valuable life with knowledge gained from experience, to make us better.
These decorative wares are all broken and mended with epoxy and painted with Gold Leaf. (Decorative only-Unsafe for food due to the gold leaf.) Patience and attention to detail is what made them whole again.
