I bought a new riveting tool and decided to make a few pair of riveted earrings to test it out. This pair of mixed metal earrings was made from sterling silver, copper and brass connected with brass rivets. The contrasting metals provide a rustic, natural look. Earrings are fun to wear, simple yet elegant and great for casual or every day occasions.

The earrings measure approximately 1 3/4 inches long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the heart. The center silver strip with rivets swings freely above the textured copper oval. These metals have been aged with a liver of sulfur patina and will also change color over time due to your body chemistry and environmental factors. Please do not shower or swim while wearing these earrings as chemicals could damage the finish.

NOTE: The ear wires are 19 gauge which is slightly thicker than the standard 20/21 gauge wires. If you have small ear openings, these will probably not work for you.
