buy This is black stoneware clay that when fired appears dark brown/black. Size: approximately 20" long from the top of the circle to the bottom of one of the hanging discs. The black cord extends above the top circle. You can shorten this cord if you want to knot it in a different location. The large shapes are approximately 3" across and the smaller oval discs are 2 1/2" and 2" across. Half of this wind chime has been glazed with clear glaze and the rest is left in it's organic state. The mixture of the two is very pretty. It appears black in some lights and dark brown in other.
Indoor or Outdoor Ceramic Wind Chimes. I hand cut all of the clay shapes for this unique wind chime. It is stunning! This is for one strand, but you can pair it with another strand and it would be charming!
These hanging wind chimes are fun decorative chimes or wind catchers that can be hung indoors or outdoors for a pop of color, texture and shape. Hang them in the kitchen window, screened porch or in a tree for some fun in your yard.
They are fired to cone 6 which is about 2200 degrees.
If you live in a severe cold climate, I suggest that you bring them in for the winter!
