This two-piece ensemble is made in a stretch lace for a look that is as comfortable as it is beautiful - perfect for a special evening, an encore wedding or a night of dancing!
The dress is sleeveless with V-neck both front and back. The bodice lace has a more geometric pattern in a natural-colored lace that is shot with a metallic gold thread. It is constructed to look like two pieces - a sleeveless top that ends just above the hip, and a straight-cut floor length skirt. Both are joined and the dress is fully lined with a nude-color knit lining for a look that is classy but alluring. The lace of the skirt is a finer pattern and has slits to the knee on both sides of the floor-length straight skirt.
The fall-front jacket (no fastener) is the same lace as the bodice but is unlined for a sheerer effect. Soft shoulder pads in the same buy nude knit of the lining give the shoulders a more classic 80s look without being mannish.
The tag inside reads "Jeffery and Dave Evenings by Tom Barra". Acetate/metallic with polyester knit lining; zip closure with hook and eye at neckline; marked "Dry Clean Only."
The set is labeled as a size 6 ( there are no tags in the jacket) but fits easily on my size 8 dress form. Please use these (unstretched) measurements as a guide:

The set is in excellent vintage condition - no stains, pulls, strained seams or stains. There is a very faint odor of storage that should easily freshen with a qualified dry cleaning.
