Product code: The Time Between - Original Watercolour buy Painting by Kirsten Bailey

This is an ORIGINAL, one-of-a-kind watercolour painting on paper - it is not a print.

We come from the stars. As Carl Sagan famously said, “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.” We return to the earth. When we die, our bodies become a part of the earth.
But.
It's the time between that counts. It's the time we spend alive – what we do with the time given to us on earth – that really matters. We reach out to try to touch the stars, all the while being grounded in the earth.
This painting depicts a tree of life, a starry sky and the ground below. It represents life – the time between.

It is painted buy on high-quality 300gsm Arches watercolour paper, A4 size (210mm x 297mm)

Your painting will arrive carefully packaged between two pieces of card and enclosed in a plastic sleeve to protect it on its journey.

Please note: This is an UNFRAMED painting on paper. This allows you to choose your own frame and significantly reduces postage costs. Images with frames are for illustration purposes only.
