Handwoven Rug, One of a Kind, buy made on 100 yr old Loom, Gorgeous Multicolor Fleece Rag Rug, Reversible, Durable

This whimsical rug was made from strips of a great sunflower themed fleece fabric (pic # 5). Once the strips are cut and woven, the result is a mottled look with a cream and gray background. Other colors present in the rug are yellow and black. I wove the yellow as the outside border and then the rest of the random strips as the center. The warp is a dark gray that blends with the fleece perfectly.

The rug is super soft and would be ideal to step out of the bathtub onto or stand at the kitchen sink. It would make a great runner by an entrance door. It would also be great in a room that needs a pop of color. When washing the rug, use the gentle cycle on cold and hang dry if possible. If using the dryer, set it to air dry with no heat. The fleece makes the rug a little slippery on a smooth surface so I would recommend a rubber rug stabilizer underneath to prevent slippage.

I wove this rug on my 100 year old Union rug loom. The rug body measures 53" long + the fringe and header on each end makes the total length 59" long by 23"wide. This is a one of a kind rug. Washable and Durable. If you would like something similar, I do take custom orders.
