50s Thermos Picnic Set Polly Red Top Model 2484 Food Storage Box Glass Interior Vacuum Bottle Extra Cups Art Deco Style

This is a picnic set from the early 50s. It was in a carry bag which was decimated by time so unfortunately is no longer with us. However, kept inside, the thermoses and storage containers were preserved very well.
To me, this thermos looks very 30s Art Deco, cool design.

The set features two ribbed aluminum vacuum bottle/glass interior Thermoses, made 1953-55, model 2484. These are very tall and each one has a cup cap with two more cups inside, so three graduated cups in great condition. Each thermos holds a quart of liquid. Says Polly Red Top on the lid. The inner cap pulls off, doesn't screw. It does fit very snug, no worries. However one has a crack at the neck, see pics. Nevertheless, the plastic remains pliable and the crack doesn't affect its ability to hold the liquid.

The food storage boxes ready also in remarkable condition with just a couple of scuffs on the larger one. The food stored would have to be dry as the tops on these are fitted perfectly but don't set in to hold liquids like modern Tupperware.

All together two thermoses, 6 cups (including the tops) and two food storage containers.
Thermoses are 14" tall
Containers are 4 x 4 x 5 inches and 9.25 x 5 x 4 inches
