This luscious skein is richly hand dyed in shades of purple, pink and blue. Lustrous and silky, this fiber combo is wonderfully soft and would make a beautiful cowl or hat, or you could gift it to the fiber lover in your life!

The Blue Faced Leicester is known for its exceptional fleece. BFL is a long-wool breed whose fleece is in high demand because of its 'next-to-skin' softness and lustrous shine. These qualities produce a soft, squishy yarn with excellent drape. Of the three types of Leicester, the Blue Faced produces the finest fleece at 24-28 microns.

This yarn was spun on my Lendrum ST wheel in a smoke free, pet friendly environment.

This yarn will felt. If that is not your intention, please be sure to handwash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry.
