Handwoven Wool Cloth buy Strips Accent Rug, Tapestry Weaving Technique, Handmade, Size: 20 1/2" x 33"

This is a small wool tapestry-style rug handmade by Joan B. Flint Textiles, and it's just waiting to become the perfect accent in your home. Cozy and warm for the bedside, bath, or kitchen floor.

A textile made using color-fast 100% wool cloth strips, and the warp used is a chestnut brown color that is a strong cotton/poly. The ends of the handwoven are woven with patterned cloth strips that fold under to form a hem, and are triple-stitched using a sewing machine for a long-lasting and durable finish. It has been finished by hand, hand-washed, and pressed.

The rug uses a tapestry weaving technique to build a design of rectangles that gradate in size on both sides of the rug that creates a harmonious visual rhythm. Using a color palette of earthen colors, there's also a pop of brightness in the lively cobalt blue color and gold-patterned cloth strips that plays off against the deep, rich red color.

This handwoven rug measures 20 1/2" W x 33" L (includes handwoven hem on both sides), and is accompanied by a care label, description label, and one of my brochures.

Woven and stored in a smoke-free weaving studio. It's been lovingly and carefully crafted, and will be packed with care for quick shipment to your home.
