They are flat, slightly irregular hearts, a little pointy too, with edges very slightly up turned to create very shallow bowls.One is made of solid brass and the other of aluminum.
Their surface is scratched/sraped with irregular lines in a diagonal fashion.It looks as though the metal surface was combed, or carved with a pencil, etc.At the back each heart plate surface is matte.The grooves in the heart plates have been oxidised slightly for a more interesting texture and appearance.

Each sculpted, Valentine's heart dish measures 1.5cm in height x 10cm in length x 9.5cm in width.
They are handmade, Greek sculpture items. Only one side of the metal hearts is carved.The heart sculptures are polished to perfection.
