This is a beautiful two tier cake stand/serving plate/tray, very versatile and unique!
It was designed by Seltmann in the 1970's. This beauty features a metal handle with two ceramic plates. There are maroon toned flowers with green leaves along the outside edges of the plates-the designs are still in flawless condition with no fade or scratches. The edges are scalloped and have a gold tone trim. The handle has changed color a little bit over the years and it has some wear but still sturdy and functioning. This treasure is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks!
The bottom of both plates are marked with "Seltmann Weiden E Bavaria Theresia 8" and what looks like "O56" but its a little hard to make out (see additional photos for closer details). It measures approximately 10" tall x 7.5" wide at the base x 5.75" wide at the top plate.
You could use this for a number of things; cake/cupcake/muffin stand or a jewelry/trinket display! It is very elegant and hard to find.
