Christmas buy felted owl

Felted owl from a kids tale. This one, shown above, will sit on my Daughters birthday cake, as she is a big fan of owls.
Later it will fly to the book shelf and will became her play friend.

The buy owl is ade based on a book chracter. I used felting techique where I use felt wool fibers and then attache wollen thread to create owly feathers look. Legs are mde fro a wire and cotton threads and end with handsculpted and handpaited shoes from modeling clay.
