Vintage PYREX Round Casserole Dishes - EARLY AMERICANA Pattern #472 & buy #473 - 1 quart and 1 1/2 pint - circa 1960

Lovely collectible Pyrex casserole dishes in the 'Early Americana' pattern, #473 is a one quart dish and #472 holds 1 1/2 pints. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with little to no fading or scratches in their designs. There is only one lid, which does fit both dishes and it does have a small chip on the handle and a small knick buy on the rim as well as scratches in the center. The smaller dish measures 7" across and approximately 3 1/4" high and the larger one measures 7" across and about 3 3/4" high.

These great dishes can go from oven to table to refrigerator, which made them so popular in the 1950s and 60s. This also accounts for the increased collectors desire for pieces in good condition.
