Wow! This is fantastic! No chips or cracks. The lid has an inner sealing lid and the rubber seal around the edge has deteriorated. Lid removes easily. Jar has ribbed panel sections. Mark on bottom notes it was made at the Alton, Illinois facility in 1938. The mold # is 8. Great look for your kitchen. It measures approximately buy 7 1/2" tall and has a top diameter of
5 1/4".
