Kokeshi is a Japanese wooden doll which was made for children's sovenior in hot spring area of Tohoku area (Northern part of Japan's main island) during Edo period. Every area has different characteristics, and charms.

This Zaou Kokeshi is made in Yamagata.

This Kokeshi with comes with a little description leaflet written in Japanese. (the first photo)
