PATTERN: This cloth can be used as a Bolster Pillow but it might have been used for a different purpose at one time - like folded over to hold linens.

A simply gorgeous medium-sized white linen BOLSTER PILLOW or sham as they are sometimes called! At one end of the Bolster is a lovely hand-embroidered large butterfly; below the butterfly is an embroidered initial "A"! The fabric is a sturdy linen which leads me to believe it is Irish Linen from comparison with other fabrics of this sort. You would need to either have a zipper put in the one end or sew it closed by hand! Fabulous butterfly and so perfect for someone with an "A" in buy their initials!

I have inserted three small pillows inside so you would see it plumped up but the pillows are not included and it would be up to you to decide on the material to insert to make it a plump bolster pillow or sham!

SIZE: Approximately 26 inches long by 12 inches wide!

CONDITION: Very good to what I consider excellent condition for being antique/vintage and pre-owned! I have hand-laundered this cover as I found it had a musty odour and a few light marks! There are a couple of very light handling marks (very hard to see) and down the center in certain lights you can see a couple of fold marks (also very hard to see).
