I am a mycologist who had worked in Europe and Asia for more than 20 years as a microbiologist and mycologist. I love fungus and love to grow beautiful mushrooms. •Medium size Premium Vermiculite
•Distilled Water

Mycelium is sensitive to contamination. During the colonization process, mushrooms do not need too much nutrition. Having higher nutrition in the substrate invites bacterial contamination. Because of this, I avoid adding worm casting, bee pollen, or oat bran in the BRF cakes. Brown rice flour is a good nutrition source for medicinal and exotic mushroom's mycelium. Vermiculate is good to keep moisture that your mushrooms need while colonization. These ingredients have been tested.

Jars

Jar lids are designed for the PF Tek method to allow easy inoculation from each side. 3 self-healing injection ports and a .22micron syringe filter attached. Jars are reusable and you can continue to grow your mushrooms with the same
