These sizeable cereal bowls can be used for sides of pasta, individual salads, cobblers, ice cream, and other desserts in addition to cereal. The Rose Bouquet pattern by Johnson Brothers was made with Springtime and Summertime in mind and would also work exceptionally well for tea parties, bridal showers, Easter, and Mother's Day and for events; such as, birthdays and anniversaries planned for inside or out. The mini-floral pink border sprays on the rippled and buy scalloped edges surround a larger budding rose with green and lavender accents on the inside center. This timeless pattern was manufactured in England from 1974 through 1988 and has since been discontinued. The back stamp pictured in PHOTO 4 on this plate is worth noting: Rose Bouquet/MADE IN ENGLAND/BY/JOHNSON BROS/A GENUINE HAND ENGRAVING/ALL DECORATION UNDER THE/GLAZE DETERGENT & ACID/RESISTING COLOUR.

All of the plates in this listing are in very good vintage condition for their age but may have some minor imperfections; such as, minor scratches and trim wear, and scattered minimal light fading, and manufacturer's blemishes but are free of chips or cracks.
