1990 Emmet Kelly 'Tis The Season' Lithograph, Artist Leighton-Jones, Stanton Arts buy It's Christmas Series, Circus Clown Collection, Matted

Emmett Kelly lithograph titled "Tis The Season" by internationally acclaimed artist Leighton-Jones, is the second limited edition lithograph in the annual series entitled "It's Christmas!" Produced under an exclusive license granted by "The Original Emmett Kelly Circus Collection". Produced in a strictly limited edition of 9900 hand-signed and numbered prints.

Signed on the front and numbered 956/9900. Signed Certificate of Authenticity and dated 1990 on the back. Matted and framed. Frame measures 17" x 13 5/8" across the back.

Emmett Kelly, on iceskates, is standing in front of a colorful array of buildings with various buy people in the village milling about. There is a clock tower in the background turning midnight. He is standing on a sheet of ice while ringing a bell as a young boy skates by. A dog withh a red bow around his neck is laying by his feet - or more likely the dog is sliding and can't stand on the ice.

The frame has a couple of chips in the wood on the top part of the frame. The white mat is slightly discolored with some very light spots on it. The brown paper on the back is torn in some places. There is a metal sawtooth hook for easy hanging.
