MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: Valerie Mainwaring has been painting for over 40 years and is very well known for her ‘little people' style. Many of her paintings invoke happy childhood memories of walks by the river, fun in the snow, days on the beach and so much more. Valerie works with various painting mediums and loves to experiment with colours. Her artwork includes conventional, abstracts and acrylic pouring techniques. Valerie's paintings over the years have been reproduced into greeting cards, jigsaw puzzles, illustrations and advertising.
