From 1940's, Turkish primitive and authentic hand carved wooden carder, wool comb with floral designs on both side engraved.
It is used to clean/separate the sheared/cut and then washed wool from fat, yolk, sweat, dust, ground, herbal waste etc. dragging in both ways by means of the iron teeth of the carder (#10)

Solid and in very good condition for age with some wear of use and leaks on both flaps (see picts).
