Okay, this is obviously not originally a planter buy, but a very cute teapot that missing its lid. However...if you were to see the racist awfulness that was the lid, you'd agree that Henry the Camel is much, much better off without it. And he does make a lovely little planter! Which is something you - or your favorite gardener friend - can enjoy all the time, not just at tea time. ;-)
Lid aside, Henry is fabulous. His mildly exasperated expression is pretty spot-on for a camel. The bright colors and random patterns are full 1950s "exotic" crazy. He measures about 5.5" tall, 9.5" long, 4.75" wide, and weighs 1 lb 4 oz. No chips or cracks. Some wear to the paint here and there, nothing noticeable. Inside is perfectly clean. Base is stamped "Made in Japan".
